How To Experience A True Haunted Halloween In Southern Ontario

From the Courthouse to the Apothecary and the Royal George Theatre, it is easy to think you have been transported back in time when visiting the charming town of Niagara on the Lake, but don’t get too comfortable. NOTL also claims to be the most haunted town in Canada. With 80% of the homes here boasting to have at least 2 resident ghosts, this seems to be the best place to experience the spookiest night of the year, Halloween.

If you don’t mind sharing your room with guests that have never left, you can stay in one of the many hotels, inns or B&B’s that claim to be haunted. Who needs to sleep anyway? Oh, and pack extra underwear.

  1. Hi Elena! I came over from Suzie’s blog party. I used to live in Burlington and have been to NOTL many times – it was a gorgeous town then and I’m sure it still is. Thanks for sharing the darker side – good luck at the haunted hotel tomorrow night 🙂

    1. There are so many beautiful little artisan shops as well as a year round Christmas store. Fabulous restaurants and theatre too. I recommend the horse and buggy ride to get a glimpse of everything. You should visit, it’s awesome for so many reasons.
