I have to be honest with you. Sometimes I get a little fed up with the whole self-affirmation, gratitude, get rid of toxic people, feel good about yourself, philosophy, movement or whatever hippy name we are using today. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe there is power in our own thoughts and that we should love and take care of ourselves. Otherwise, we are no good to anyone.
However, once in awhile, I feel like people are missing the point. It’s not all about you, how you feel and what’s in it for you.
If you really want to find happiness…
- Affirm someone else’s self
- Make it onto someone’s gratitude list
- Be the reason someone is a little less toxic
- Make someone feel good about themselves…
