Ultimate Pinterest Guide To Grow Your Followers And Repins

The ultimate in Pinterest tips! How to get followers on Pinterest (and drive traffic back to your website) if you are a blogger, business owner, or entrepreneur.

Working as a social media manager, sometimes I forget how over-whelming or confusing Pinterest can be for bloggers and entrepreneurs. Most bloggers understand how to save and share pins for personal use but when it comes to driving traffic through Pinterest to their sites, they are stumped. Especially if they are not a fashion, recipe or DIY/craft blogger.
If you are a content or author blogger, you may think you can’t grow your Pinterest followers. You may think that there is no way Pinterest could drive traffic to your blog. You probably hear about other bloggers getting oodles of repins and you think it could never work for you.
Well, stop right there. I KNOW you are wrong, wrong, wrong.
I have been using Pinterest for years on my own blogs and through my posts and my services, have helped thousands of other bloggers harness the power of Pinterest and boost their pageviews.
What makes me an expert? Besides the fact that I drive thousands of views to my own blog as well as my client’s sites daily, I live, breath and eat Pinterest. I make it my business to know what you need to do to make it work for you. I try different strategies and then I share what works and more importantly, what doesn’t work so that you don’t waste your time.
Look, I am not going to lie to you here either. Is it easier to get followers and traffic to your blog from Pinterest if you are in certain niches? Absolutely.
What does that mean to you as a content blogger?

  • you have to be more focused and deliberate with your Pinterest strategy
  • you have to teach Pinterest you have great content
  • your growth and results may take longer

  2. I’m so glad I found your blog on Pinterest. I can’t wait to read each article and study through each one. I am definitely interested in getting you to help me with Pinterest if possible. I am completely lost Pinterest used to work and now since Pinterest changed their aligorm nothing but crickets. I have a business account verified my website all of my urls I have leading to correct destinations. My pictures are a billion times better than they used to be. I have tried manual pinning and scheduled pinning nothing is working I am very stumped on what I am doing wrong.

  3. Be careful with all these tools as pinterest is known to block sites and mark them as spam. Just do a quick search to find out. Also I suspect that it will go the Facebook way and kill traffic to bloggers. They have started doing it with the last updates. Traffic has dropped massively in the past month.

    1. My traffic from Pinterest has more than tripled in the last few months. And that is because I teach bloggers how to use Pinterest authentically. If you read my post about algorithm changes, I explain that bloggers can and will be marked as spam if they continue to use the platform to strictly promote themselves. Pinterest is no different than Google which changes every time marketers learn how to manipulate the algorithm.

  4. Your post leaves me intrigued. However, you seem to assume us bloggers know what Pinterest is. I, for one, haven’t got a clue. So I will now go away and find out, then come back to you later when I know.

  5. I haven’t been on Pinterest long, but I can really see its benefits and am really enjoying putting my profile together, however…since Saturday my blog account has stopped working and I can’t pin anything! I’ve emailed them several times, to be told that there’s a bug and they’re working on it. My other account works fine. It’s very frustrating. I hope they sort it out soon then I’ll be taking on board your fab article 🙂

    1. I have heard other bloggers get sorted out pretty quickly when they have contacted support so I hope you do too. Let me know once you are back on track if you have any questions.
